Palmetto GBA regained the PDAC contract on January 15, 2019 after losing it to Noridian over 10 years ago.
As a result, the DMEPDAC website also transitioned during the month of January. The new site allows users to perform the same functions as the old site, but does not include additional functionality for searching 2019 competition area rates.
Suppliers in Jurisdiction B or Jurisdiction C can use the CGS DMEPOS Fee Schedule tools for database searches. The CGS tool is limited to the states serviced by the applicable DME MAC. For suppliers in Jurisdiction A or Jurisdiction D, Noridian’s website offers downloadable Excel spreadsheets equivalent to the CMS files, but no searchable database.
We expect the MACs and PDAC to add new searchable tools for single payments for former CBAs in the future, but for now suppliers must download the CMS file with updated 2019 rates.
