If you submitted a bid for any of the Round 2 recompete (R2RC) or National Mail Order recompete (NMORC) contracts, you are anxiously awaiting the announcement of single payment amounts and contract offers. These must be announced before March 31, but are likely to be announced much sooner. However, if you want to stay connected with the CBIC, you must take action now.
The CBIC has launched a new communication portal to interact with bidding suppliers. The Connexion portal will be the only method the Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) will use to communicate with suppliers and they will not be mailing contract offers as they have in years past. The portal is finally open for registration. Any supplier that has participated in the R2RC/NMORC is urged to begin registration right away.
Authorized officials and back up authorized officials must first be registered in the CMS EIDM system. If you previously registered for and received an IACS User ID during R2RC/NMORC the information has been migrated into the EIDM system. Once the authorized official (AO) logs into EIDM, they can request access to the Connexion portal. There are verification protocols to validate the AO’s PECOS information and NSC application information to the EIDM profile. If you encounter difficulties you should contact the CBIC directly at 1-877-577-5331.

We expect single payment amounts for the R2RC/NMORC to be released any day now. Once the SPAs have been released the CBIC will move forward with contract offers. Suppliers will only have 10 days to respond to contract offers using the Connexion portal before the CBIC will move on to the next supplier. Given that registration for the Connexion portal relies on the proper execution of many steps, we are urging suppliers to lock in their registration now to be fully prepared by the time SPAs are released. See the EIDM reference guide and Connexion Quick Reference Guide for step-by-step instructions to gain access to the Connexion portal.
