Tricare has yet to release public information about their Cures Act protocol, however MiraVista has the inside scoop. The Tricare South and West regions are aware of the retroactive reimbursement and are in the process of identifying all impacted claims. These two payers will adjust claims automatically without supplier intervention. At this time, we have no set timeframe for when suppliers will start to see these adjustments. The Tricare North region will not auto-adjust affected claims. Suppliers must fax a spreadsheet with all impacted claims to the DME fax line at 888-377-4191. Tricare North will send adjusted remittance advices within 15-30 business days. Suppliers should keep an eye out for these adjusted Tricare claims, and contact their provider relations representative with any additional questions.
